Welcome to UK Educators

This Wiki is primarilly for the use of those UK based Educators using Second Life and similar MUVEs for Education i.e. members of the Second Life UK Educators Group; but whatever your interest, please feel free to join and contribute.

Group Charter: 

To form a community of UK based educators and support the use of Second LIfe in UK Education. Main areas of interest to include:

  -  Practical aspects of using SL as a teaching and learning environment

  -  Collaboration among those interested in UK education.

  -  The hosting of events and conferences regarding UK education.

I am interested in how various social networking systems can be used together to support cohesive working groups. Therefore we have a UK Educators group in Second Life along with this Wiki on the web. Do please give me feedback as to how you feel this works.

UK Educators intends to coordinate a series of events in Second Life. If you can host/present an event please post details in this Wiki in the events folder Example event   , and I will send out group notices in SL. The time, location and date of events is fixed by the host/presenter. If you can present but do not have a venue we can find a venue for you.
